At the last minute, one of my favorite yogis texted me an invite to see Carry On (also affectionately known as the Paper Bird Ballet).  Combining the talents of Ballet Nouveau Colorado with the sweet sounds of my favorite Colorado ensemble, Paper Bird.  In the quickest turnaround I’ve ever witnessed among my friends, we whipped together all of the necessities (read: blankets, wine in discreet bottles and an array of cheeses) for an outdoor ballet/concert.  

The whole night was gorgeous!  Everything had this soft sweetness - from the greeters who barely checked our bags for the wine we were stowing to the hipsters among us to the $15 lawn seats to the costumes of dancers and musicians alike to the lifts and the music.  It was a one-night only Encore show… and it was the perfect Saturday night!  I’ll be spending the better part of my Tuesday listing to the music and wishing that I could see it again!
