The Lives They Lived →
This year seemed to have more than its fair share of iconic deaths, but this is not a greatest-hits issue. Instead, we gravitated to those with an untold tale. Ira Glass of “This American Life” edits a special section devoted to ordinary people.

You can take the girl out of Colorado...
I just overheard an ad on my Pandora for ‘Trojan’s BareSkin Condoms.’
Perhaps it’s the side effects of taking Allegra-D, but I literally heard the ad and assumed it was for ‘Trojan’s Bear Skin Condoms.’ You can imagine my confusion. Bear skin? Like Fur? The horror. That doesn’t even make sense.
I think I’m going to stay away from...

The movers came and went this morning. My stuff is slowly, but surely on it’s way to Chicago now. Let the countdown begin. 9 days to go. (I think.)
In the meantime, I’m temporarily rooming with the greatest hostess of all time. She works the night shift as an Oncology nurse a couple nights a week…

which...
Buffalo Exchange vs. Goodwill: A Seller's Tale
Background
As part of my move to Chicago in 10 days (OMG!), I’ve taken the approach of less is more. In an effort to reduce the clutter I’ve collected in my four years in Colorado, I was fairly liberal in my efforts to ‘pitch & toss.’ In all, I filled 5 big boxes. 5 big boxes that would not be joining me in Chicago.

– The Avett Brothers’ Murder in The City
Olivier.
When I drove out to Denver three and a half years ago in my Jeep, my best friend and I affectionately named her Olivier. (Pronunciation: oh-liv-ee-ay) Olivier was involved in an accident this morning. She was parked at the time. (Who hits a parked car? Honestly. Insert your own “Really?!? With Seth” monologue.) No injuries, just a little bit of a hassle for the next couple...

Yoga and the Art of Sweaty Palms
Lately, I’ve been spending some of my extra time ‘subbing’ at Vital Yoga (thanks to my recent graduation from Teacher Training). Almost every week, I practice with Micah (studio owner) during her beautiful 8 o’clock Saturday morning class. Micah sets the bar for teachers in my book… usually 40-60 people strong, she has an unequaled way of connecting with every...

Let's split this one!
Courtney (work BFF) and I have this amazing habit of ‘splitting’ glasses of wine… as some sort of means of moderation. When we say it, we’re pretty convinced that we’re cheating the system. Here’s how it happens:
Should we have another glass?
Hmmm. Ok, but let’s split this one!
Times 20. Turns out, we’re not actually cheating the system....
